The interior of the Casino is bright, colorful and the smoke free slot area (first floor) is a major improvement. A major improvement over the older San Manuel Casino. A new seventeen floor hotel with 432 rooms and 127 suits will open in November 2021, and the 3,000-seat event center is scheduled to open in the spring of 2022. A six-story parking garage with 2,200 parking spaces significantly improved the former parking issues. It features 135 table games, 6,500 slot machines, thirty-eight poker tables, 121,300 square foot gaming floor and five high limit rooms with 490 high limit slot machines. This casino is the largest gaming facility open in California and on the west coast. On 24 September 2021, the old casino ceased operations and the new casino opened its doors as the Yaamava’ Resort Casino.
This casino was formerly known as the San Manuel Casino owned and operated by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. After seeing the commercial on television about the new Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, ventured over to Highland, California to check out this new casino.
